Building Anyone Can Design - 1

Anyone Can Design - https://anyonecandesign.com - is an AI nocode platform for creating websites and web apps. It works simply by prompting what your heart desires and hides all technical aspects from the user. Therefore it is aimed toward non-technical profiles. I plan to hone my entrepreneurial skills on this project, as I want to release it to the world.

The intent: giving everyone what I do best

With the advent of LLMs, I fear that one day a clever enough AI will take over my job for good. Hence my solution to this problem is to create the AI that should replace me, so I’m never out of a job. On a more serious note, I wanted to give to the world what I do best: creating web apps. Through this project, it is the gift of my trade I’m offering to you. I sincerely hope that thanks to Anyone Can Design, many will be able to create stunning websites simply by prompting, without the hassle of a drag-and-drop builder. I have high hopes for the project.

The design challenge

I started validating the idea by examining x.com’s conversations about lovable.dev and bolt.new (the competition, aimed toward developers). I had a strong feeling that generative website generation could be offered to non-technical people too. So with that in mind, on the 5th of December 2024, I started writing the first line of code. And on January 12th, 2025 the MVP was ready. It features the possibility of creating a website simply by prompting and a stripe integration to unlock more prompts behind a paywall. There are many features I want to develop, but I also have to work on the business side of things: I want to recruit a cofounder, write a business plan, pitch the project, and more.

The ambition

I want this project to grow as big as possible. I work on two fronts: the tech and the business side of things. The latter is the most important. Now that the MVP is released, I intend to focus less on building the app and more on building the business. I know only one way to get my first users: through content generation and community management on social medias. If I can gain 100 users by May 2025 I’ll call it a win. It is known that 99% of startups fail during their first year. My credo is the following: be perseverant, endure, and keep going whatever the cost. This is what I intend to do.

With that in mind, I’m inviting you to try Anyone Can Design for yourself. You can create a portfolio or a simple browser game for example. Let me know what you think of it on X, I’d be more than happy to chat with my users.
